Patients:

Q: How long will it take to get my new dentures?

A: The length of time taken to complete a denture depends on the number of teeth that you are missing. A one to three tooth denture can be manufactured in as little as one working day, whereas a large partial or full denture will require four or more visits to the dentist and could take up to four weeks (depending on how often your dentist can see you).

Q: What is the difference between N.H.S. dentures and Private dentures?

A: The main differences between N.H.S. dentures and private dentures are the materials and equipment used in manufacture. The acrylics used in private dentures are high impact cross linked acrylics, giving a much stronger plate. The teeth themselves are manufactured from multi-layered acrylics giving a much more life like appearance.
